Evaluation of Game Center Project

System Request

Project Sponser: Ayden McCall

Business Need: After reading our newspaper, readers simply leave our site. By providing a game center that will house games such as Sudoku and Solitare, we will increase the amount of time spent on our site.

Business Value: Alongside advertisments that will generate revenue, the app will encourage more interaction with our site and brand.

Business Requirements: The App would require regular maintance, as well as occasional additions.

Feasibility Analysis Assessment Factors

Technical Feasibility: The project's complexity is simple, and can be expanded upon over time without difficulty.

Compatability: Compatability between our main site and this project should not pose any problems, as interaction will be minimal.

Economic Feasibility: The project can be created inexpensively, though it will require matainence and attention to user feedback. Much of the profit margin will be indirect, with site traffic and a long-term community as the benefits.

Organizational Feasibility: Currently, with 2 teams of 4 developers, we estimate the project to be ready for launch in 8 weeks. Our developers are of adequete skill to undertake the project without additional training.

Risk Assessment

Risk #1: Low Interests in Game Center

Likelihood of Risk: Low, though it may become more likely if not marketed correctly.

Potential Impact on Project: This would worsen the launch campaign of the project, leading to dis-interest.

Potential Recourse: In this case, we would gather user-feedback and re-launch, fixing whatever had lead to the issue.

Preventive Measures: Running a survey or test group to decide the direction of the launch campaign.
